Dr. Leila M. Pazargadi is an Associate Professor of English at Nevada State College, where she loves teaching and writing about Middle Eastern, postcolonial, and world literatures. She received her Doctorate of Philosophy in Comparative Literature with a certification in Gender Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2012. She also received her Master of Arts in Comparative Literature from UCLA in 2007 and her Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literary Studies from Occidental College in 2004.
